Gunjan has been passionate about music and dance since she was three years old and has been training in Hindustani Classical Music since the age of five. She trained with Smt. Arati Pathak (disciple of Vidushi Veena Sahasrabuddhe) in Dubai, U.A.E. for over four years and currently is blessed to be under the tutelage of Smt. Suparna Dangi (disciple of Pt. Ratnakar Pai and Smt. Aditi Kaikini Upadhya) and Pt. Hemant Pendse (disciple of Pt. Jitendra Abhisheki) in the Bay Area. She has successfully completed Sangeet Visharad I and is working on a Bachelor's degree in Music. She also learns Kathak from Smt. Anuradha Nag, which has allowed her to appreciate classical music and dance from a different lens.
Gunjan loves the performing arts and has performed and won numerous shows and competitions in the Bay Area and abroad. She spent several years teaching creative dance movement to toddlers and young kids and is also a wedding choreographer.
The global pandemic led her to create her own Youtube channel and Instagram handle as passion projects. When she is not busy dancing and singing, she spends her day job being an academic counselor and educator at Santa Clara University. Her passion for music and education led her to bring Little Ustaads to the Bay Area.
